'Fun At My Writing Club Christmas Dinner'

I had a great time this year at Shorelink Writers Christmas do at The Azur along Hastings seafront. The food was great, the company even better but it seems my ability to surprise and delight people with my Christmas antics is on the wane!
Dressed from head to toe in Victorian costume including, hat, cane, gloves and long red silk lined black cloak I felt sure I was going to make a splash and cause a few laughs on arrival. But no! When I arrived not one of my fellow cohorts looked remotely surprised! It seems my antics have become 'the norm' at this time of year now and my ability to shock has diminished! I have to admit that I was a tad disappointed about this as I spent quite a time earlier in the year working on my plan for this years Christmas bash. Then again, what can I expect when each year I can be relied upon to dress up and do something totally over the top? My friend, Ro, even suggested next year I might come as 'myself - could I really need to stoop that low! HA HA HA Anyway, as you can see here, I did manage to pose for a few 'dramatic' shots before the wind totally escaped my sails...
