'Into December! I'm Off to Look At the Christmas Lights!'

Now we are into the 'D month' I feel I can throw all of my energy into being Christmassy and doing daft or unusual things! HA HA Last night I took my camera with me and went for a walk about my local area to see how Christmas was doing with the locals? Did I find much evidence of the Christmas spirit or could we in Hollington be doing more to get into it? Well,  take a look at this video of my adventures and judge for yourself...

O.k.? So what do you think, huh? Am I wrong to get so 'uppity' about half-mast Christmas Trees? Do we really have to take precautions to prevent vandalism like this today and if we do what does that say about us as a community? I have been watching quite a few Christmas movies on Channel 5 this year including the hilariously manic, 'The Christmas Consultant' with David Hasselhoff and I don't think I have seen one half mast Christmas Tree in any of them! If the people in the toughest part of The Bronx have proper Christmas Trees with lights all the way down why the hell can't we in Hastings! It really is laughable and the perception that seems to exist in my home town that Christmas trees pose a serious health & safety risk is even more daft! If vandals mess about with the lights on our public Christmas trees and get electrocuted LET THEM FRY is what I say! HA HA

No, seriously, can Hastings really be the most miserable, paranoid, and un-christmassy place in the universe? If it is, there is certainly a HUGE irony in the fact that I, nicknamed 'Mr.Christmas', live there, is there not?
